Mosman Council is participating in the ‘Fridge Buyback Program’, in the hope local residents will trade in their second fridges to help the environment. The reforms, many of which come on board on 1 July 2007, will have a significant effect on the retirement plans of all Australians. However, the impact will be felt most keenly by our over-5Os, who are closer to retirement than the rest of us. Trouble is, a recent Citbank survey found disturbingly... read news item »

Property's Great Divide
How will the recent rate changes affect the upper levels of the residential market? Regrettably, there will be no impact at all at the top end and clearly devastation at the bottom end and country areas. Melbourne and Sydney's two-tiered marketplace is simply getting further apart and this interest rate rise will only widen the gap. With the top end travelling as well as it has for the past 16... read news item »
